The people here are largely useless in the giving of advice.
How did you adjust to being human. I've quickly realized the miserable bare minimum of maintaining this body is leaving me without strength. I cannot sit by in this apartment sleeping and waiting for my power to return for a month.
[Well isn't this an interesting message to pop up. It's not hard to figure out who this is.]
Nosferatu, correct? [That's absolutely his name.]
I didn't.
[Black Hat doesn't care to recall his first month on the Ryslig peninsula. It was an exercise in humiliation all around, the less said about it the better. But, well, if he's going to butter up this potential tool, he'll have to play at friendliness.]
I ate, I slept, I tended to the body's needs as they arose, and I had my minions.
I am eating. I am sleeping. But water and crackers is not enough and I have no desire to discover what is worth eating and what isn't. I am woefully lacking in my minions here and my powers have fully failed me.
I certainly don't wish to embrace this form but I am useless if I do not master it.
Then it wasn't very good meat. You might wind up having to eat the stuff anyway in a month's time - get started on it early. That will help you with your form's mastery, for now and for the future.
That depends on the food you are or aren't eating it with. Red meat? A cabernet sauvignon or a
[There's a long pause as Black Hat realizes that a man who is currently refusing to eat anything aside from water and crackers probably has no clue about the intricacies of wine selection.]
Red wine with red meat: mammals. Cow, pig, human. White wine with white meat: poultry and fish.
[Not quite as valuable as it could be, in Black Hat's opinion. The mention of energy surrounding him reminds Black Hat of something Nos-4-a2 mentioned when they first met.]
Did you take steps to amend that weakness? Your powers would be useless here otherwise, even if you are to reclaim them.
Before I was taken, I was in the middle of harvesting the effects of a strange cursed I'd passed on to a human to turn every organic thing in the universe into a machine for my own personal buffet.
I'm sure I could reclaim the plans for that from my memory files, given I reclaim some resources.
Of course I know my own plans. I forget now I simply have a memory, not a well organized set of files I can access from my own mind as I please.
There are parts of it I lack here and fear I will not get back for some time. I'm sure you lacked resources at your arrival as well, your so-called lordship
I was looking for resources from someone who had been through something similar. The advice you've provided is enough, though I may come to you for more resources in the future.

Go get yourself some meat. The one called Handsome Jack runs a butchery of flesh; go there.
[The address is added.]
Wine is as good a drink as any; don't overindulge. What sort of minions did you have?
[He's treating this like a villain consultation now. Perhaps he should question Flug on the specifics of human needs....]
<Amppire>
I will try this wine. Are there varietals you recommend?
I had dominion over any other robot or machine I came across.

[There.]
Robots and machines? That's all?
<Amppire>
I will keep your reccomendations in mind.
It was infinitely valuable when I was so surrounded by technology and energy and robots to bend to my whim, unlike on this primitive planet.

[It's a good scheme in theory, but Black Hat is a bit slow on the whole 'former robot' angle.]

You're not unique in that regard, no.
[And that's all he'll say on that. He's, frankly, starting to lose patience with this conversation.]
Now, is there anything else you need besides the most basic of survival instincts explained to you? Time is money, Nos-4-a2.
<Amppire>
<BlackHat>
Enjoy your month, Nos-4-a2. The changes will come soon enough.
